johnny depp reads: Johnny Depp to star in "THE RUM DIARY" in March '09

Variety is also reporting that Johnny Depp and his Infinitum Nihil production company will begin Hunter S. Thompson's "The Rum Diary" in March of '09. Bruce Robinson is directing his script.
