Astro City an Infinitum Nihil project?

Astro City an Infinitum Nihil project? It looks like Indy film guru Ben Barenholtz is developing Kurt Busiek's comic book Astro City with Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil and that Frank Marshall is set to direct.

As I like to say? Stay tuned kids....time will tell!

Johnny Depp scouting Rum Diary?

Another Spanish language report has surfaced today, and it implies that Johnny, Initial's Graham King and director Bruce Robinson were checking locations for Infinitum Nihil's project "The Rum Diary" based on the novel of Hunter S. Thompson.

Here is the article: Click here: » Primera Hora - Llegan Clooney, Spacey y McGregor

And here is my rough translation/interpretation of what was written, and as always, time will tell if this is true.

Johnny apparently tried to or wanted to visit Puerto Rico within the last few weeks but a bad rain storm impeded it. The actor who was made famous by Pirates of the Caribbean and movie producer Graham King had planned to visit the island but a devistating tropical storm stopped it. Their purpose was to begin scouting for location settings for the filming of the movie The Rum Diary, based on the novel of Hunter Thompson that was based on his time in Puerto Rico in 1960. Because of the storm, they looked at Mexico, and it seems they would recreate Old San Juan there. It also is said that the film's director Bruce Robinson is about to make a visit to Puerto Rico, he was invited by local film people who want the project to be made on the island as Depp and the others would begin filming in January of 2009.
