Public Enemies at Cannes?

Sure looks like things may be moving towards a slot at Cannes for Johnny Depp's PUBLIC ENEMIES. Public Enemies also stars Marion Cotillard, Christian Bale, Billy Crudup, John Michael Bolger and Christian Stolte and was directed by Michael Mann. Universal is giving it a July 1 nationwide release.

Public Enemies trailer March 4?

If this site is correct, then we have the Public Enemies trailer arriving on Apple.com next Wednesday the 4th March. And it's supposedly to be released in theaters here in the US on Friday March 6th with the Watchmen.

We all know PUBLIC ENEMIES is based on NY Times best selling author Bryan Burrough's book and that it was directed by Michael Mann and stars Johnny Depp as John Dillinger, Marion Cotillard as Billie Frechette, Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis as well as John Michael Bolger as Martin Zarkovich and Branka Katic as Anna Sage, the "woman in red."

Universal has the film slated for a July 1 nationwide release.

Depp does Paris

Stephen Fry is to voice the Cheshire Cat in ALICE. It seems that ALICE is not completed and according the report below, work will begin again in LA.



Tim Burton is directing this version of the classic for Disney and stars Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter, Christopher Lee and Anne Hathaway.

Colleen Atwood costuming Depp's THE RUM DIARY

Colleen Atwood will be creating the costumes for Johnny Depp's THE RUM DIARY. Depp is set to begin production March 30 on location in Puerto Rico. The film is based on Hunter S. Thompson's novel set in early 1960s San Juan amid the rag tag newspapermen of the city. The film stars Depp in the Paul Kemp role with Richard Jenkins, Amber Heard and Aaron Eckhart. Bruce Robinson is directing for Depp's Infinitum Nihil.

"Public Enemies" screening in LA Thursday

There was a test screening in LA of the new Johnny Depp, Michael Mann, Marion Cotillard and Christian Bale film "Public Enemies" last night, Feb. 12 and we were lucky to have some people in the audience.

Depp's Rum Diary adds to cast

"The Rum Diary" is filling in its cast. The Hollywood Reporter is saying that Richard Jenkins has signed and that Aaron Eckhart is in negotiations to play along side Johnny Depp in the first film from his Infinitum Nihil's shingle. Click here: Eckhart, Jenkins book 'Rum Diary' pic

They are reporting that Eckhart would play Sanderson while Jenkins is on as Lotterman, Bruce Robinson is directing. Production is slated to begin in Puerto Rico March 30.

Variety is reporting that Johnny Depp's "The Rum Diary" is selling in the European Film Market. "The Rum Diary" is based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson and is directed by Bruce Robinson, it will star Depp in the lead role of Paul Kemp and Amber Heard as Chenault. Filming is slated to begin in Puerto Rico in late March.

Looks like Johnny Depp's upcoming "Lone Ranger" may film some scenes in Texas! Depp's playing Tonto. No news yet as to who the mysterious masked man will be. "The Lone Ranger" is a Disney production and is being scripted by the guys behind Shrek and all of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio.
