Johnny Depp received his eighth Golden Globe® nomination for his role as the revenge driven murderous barber in Tim Burton's musical thriller SWEENEY TODD. Helena Bonham Carter was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy or Drama, Tim Burton garnered a nomination for Best Director and the film was also nominated in the Comedy or Musical category.
The 65th Annual Golden Globe® Awards will be presented live on NBC on January 13, 2008.
