Sweeney Todd receives five Critics Choice Award nominations

SWEENEY TODD has garnered five Critics Choice Award nominations including Best Picture, Johnny Depp for Best Actor and Tim Burton for Best Director, Best Acting Ensemble and Edward Sanders for Best Young Actor.

The Critics' Choice Awards are awarded by the Broadcast Film Critics Association. The winners will be announced on January 7, 2008 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium and will be broadcast live on VH1. Be sure to check your local television listings for exact time and channel location.
